Available year-round, the Sivananda Yoga Vacation programme offers the visitor the chance to dive deeply into the ancient teachings of yoga. You will experience the profound benefits that yoga brings to mind, body and spirit in the idyllic setting of a traditional ashram. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned practitioner vitality, positivity and ease of being come with daily asana and pranayama practice, healthy vegetarian diet, silent meditation sessions and uplifting teachings. You discover new ways of thinking with talks on yoga philosophy and psychology and devotional practices that are an integral part of the stay. You will establish a solid foundation to living a life of peace and happiness, your mind will expand and your heart will open.

5:30am Wake-up bell
6am Satsang (silent meditation, chanting, discourse on yoga)
8am Yoga class
10am Brunch
11am Karma yoga
12/2pm Afternoon lecture/programme
3.30pm Yoga class
6pm Dinner
8pm Satsang
10pm Lights out
Attendance at all classes and satsangs is mandatory in all ashrams. Sometimes special events will be held. Check each ashram for upcoming special programmes.
