Satya Yoga Liège
ॐ नमः शिवाय
Established in 2001 as Satya Yoga Liège – Académie de Yoga Daniel Sullon, the school was founded by the late Daniel Sullon, a devoted practitioner and teacher inspired by the renowned yogi André Van Lysebeth (see biography).
In 2015, the torch was passed to three of Daniel’s closest assistants—Marianne (यीगाचार्य), Nanou (hypnotherapist), and André (physiotherapist)—each personally trained by him and deeply rooted in his vision of yoga as a lifelong, integrative journey.
In 2021, guided by the same spirit of transmission, Daniel’s three heirs welcomed three new teachers—Murielle (biologist), Christophe (IT engineer), and Pierre (lawyer)—who were themselves introduced to the yogic path under his guidance.
All of the school’s teachers offer their time and knowledge voluntarily, staying true to the principles of Karma Yoga.
The core offering is a comprehensive four-year teacher training program, which includes instruction in Āsana, Prāṇāyāma, Yoga Nidrā, meditation, Yoga therapy, didactics, and yogic philosophy.
Honoring Daniel Sullon’s unique approach, the school follows a circular teaching model, where students from all levels—first through fourth year—learn and grow together. The learning environment is intentionally intimate, and fees (दक्षिणा) are kept modest, reflecting the school’s commitment to accessibility and humility in practice.
In addition to the teacher training, daily classes are offered for practitioners of all levels.
