Institute for Yoga Education Research & Holistic Sciences (IYERHS) is a Unit of “Katirail Yoga Byayam Centre Foundation” and the Yogic Legacy Bearer of “Katirail Yoga Byayam Centre”, was founded by Yoga Guru Radhesh Chandra Chakraborty at Katirail (Promodnagar, Katigorah), Cachar, Assam (India) on October2,1989.
Yoga Guru Radhesh Chandra Chakraborty, S/O: Ramesh Chandra Chakraborty carrying the legacy of yogic practices about 110 years through his family tradition, that come from his Grand Father Yoga Guru Late Raman Bihari . Further he has got active touch regarding yoga and spiritual education from Swami Shivananda Saraswati (Got deep touch from 1953), Swami Ramnath Prabhu ji and others Gurus from time to time. He has got “Mouna Achari” process during his yogic learning and Diksha from “Adwaita Paribar”. His father Late Ramesh Chandra Chakraborty was also met Swami Shivananda Saraswati (Disciple of 108 Swami Nigamananda Saraswati) on 1923 at Bangladesh (Undivided India). Since that time Ramesh Chandra surrendered himself to the Yogic Practices & Parampara of Swami Shivananda. Yoga Guru Radhesh has got so many meditation processes, therapeutic processes during his yoga Shiksha from this traditional yogic & holistic legacy.
On 2nd october 1989 Yoga Guru Radhesh established “Katirail Yoga Byayam Centre” and started a free yoga education programme, therapeutic practices for the spiritual, mental and physical well-being of the people. After that, the centre started a systematic yoga education process through proper syllabus so that students get classwise certificates that helped them not only wellness but also carrier building.
In the year of 2000, Yoga Guru Radhesh authorized his elder son Rahul Chakraborty as a legacy bearer of “Katirail Yoga Byayam Centre”. Rahul got his spiritual Diksha from Guru Sri Sri Balaram Goswami. A few years back “Rahul Chakraborty” was blessed by Spiritual Master Dr. Omanand Guru ji and renamed as “Divya Geetanand”. He has completed his study in yoga education, holistic healing as well as traditional “Moun Achari” also. Divya Geetanand Rahul is the 4th generation of his family tradition who is maintaining the more than 130 years legacy of “Yogic Wellness and Holistic Healing”. He is also the DIRECTOR of “Katirail Yoga Byayam Centre Foundation” and CHAIRMAN of “IYERHS”.
