Shri Vishwanath Onkar Mahajan is a highly respected Yoga educator with over two decades of experience in teaching, training, and promoting the traditional science of Yoga. Combining a distinguished professional career with deep expertise in yogic education, he has dedicated his life to nurturing aspiring yoga teachers and spreading authentic yogic knowledge.
After serving with distinction in the Greater Mumbai Milk Scheme, Dairy Development Department, Government of Maharashtra, he retired in 2022 and continues to devote himself full-time to Yoga education, teacher training, and community wellness initiatives.
A long-standing member of Yoga Vidya Niketan, one of India’s renowned institutions for classical Yoga education, Shri Mahajan served as a Yoga Teacher for the Diploma in Yogic Education (Yoga Teacher Training Course) from 2006 to 2022, and currently teaches in the institution’s Global Yoga Teacher Training Course (YTTC). He also served as the General Secretary and Joint Secretary of Yoga Vidya Niketan before being appointed as a Trustee in April 2023.
