Mr. Pankaj Bhagat is a dedicated Yoga professional committed to promoting Yoga education, awareness, research, social service, and Yogasana sports. He actively works across West Bengal, the East India Zone, and throughout the country, while also contributing to the global promotion of Yoga and Yogasana.
With extensive experience in teaching, training, coaching, and organizational leadership, he has inspired thousands of students, yoga teachers, and athletes to embrace Yoga as a holistic way of life for physical health, mental well-being, and spiritual growth. His vision is to strengthen the integration of traditional yogic wisdom with modern education and competitive Yogasana, empowering individuals and communities through the transformative power of Yoga.

Rashtrapati Bhavan Honoree – Invited by Yogasana Bharat to Rashtrapati Bhavan as the Best Performer from West Bengal for his outstanding contribution to the Government of India’s 75 Crore Surya Namaskar Project.
Most Active Associate Centre Award 2024 – Under his leadership, the Yog Sports Association of Bengal received this prestigious recognition among 234 Associate Centres across India. The award was presented by Padma Shri Dr. H.R. Nagendra and Shri Subodh Tiwari.
Yog Seva Puraskar 2025 – Honoured by the Indian Yoga Association in recognition of his exceptional service and contribution to the promotion of Yoga.
Yog Shiromani Award 2025 – Conferred by Vedic Vishva Vidyapeeth for excellence in the field of Yoga.
Yog Ratna Award – Presented by Five Star Welfare & Sports Club, Punjab, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Yoga.
Patanjali Yoga Award 2024 – Conferred by Keep Fit International Group for his dedicated service to Yoga and wellness.
Pioneer in Women’s Yogasana Sports – Founder of the Nari Shakti Yog Sports Association, India’s first Government-registered Women’s Yogasana Association, established to promote women’s participation and leadership in Yogasana sports.
🧘 KEY ACHIEVEMENTS – YOGASANA BHARAT & YOGASANA SPORTS
International & National Coach – Selected as one of only six National Coaches from over 140 coaches across India after successfully completing the Level-1 National Yogasana Coaches Training conducted by NSNIS Patiala, Punjab. He is the only International Coach from West Bengal under Yogasana Bharat.
State & National Judge – Certified Judge of the National Yogasana Sports Federation, officiating at State and National Yogasana Championships.
Leadership in Yogasana Sports – As Academic Head of the Yog Sports Association of Bengal, he leads initiatives in coach development, judges’ training, athlete mentoring, and the successful organization of State Yogasana Championships.
