Vision:
The vision of Priyogam is to provide a transformative experience that helps individuals to cultivate greater physical, mental, and emotional well-being, and to build a community of practitioners who support and uplift one another.

Mission:
The mission of Priyogam is to make the practice and philosophy of yoga accessible and convenient for people regardless of their location and available to the globe.

Aim:
The yoga class aims to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being through the practice of yoga asanas, pranayama, and meditation. The class is guided by knowledgeable and experienced teachers who create a welcoming and non-judgmental atmosphere for students of all levels and backgrounds.

Activities:
Priyogam is a virtual platform (Online Yoga Studio) where individuals can access yoga classes, tutorials, and resources from the comfort of their own homes. The online yoga studio may offer live-streamed classes, pre-recorded sessions, or a combination of both.

Users can typically choose from a variety of yoga styles, such as Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, or Restorative, and select classes based on their level of experience, duration, or specific focus areas such as mindfulness, flexibility, or strength. In addition to classes, an online yoga studio may also offer other resources, such as guided meditations, wellness tips, and community forums for members to connect and support one another in their yoga Journey.

Overall, Priyogam provides a convenient and accessible way for individuals to prioritize their physical and mental well-being through the practice of yoga.

Priyogam also conducts various workshops on yogic health, to provide in-depth education on the principles and practices of yoga that can help individuals improve their overall physical, mental, and emotional health. These workshops may cover a range of topics, such as:

1. Yoga Asanas: Participants will learn about various yoga postures and how to perform them safely and correctly to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and posture.

2. Pranayama: This refers to the practice of controlled breathing techniques that can help regulate the body’s energy and reduce stress and anxiety.

3. Meditation: Participants will learn different meditation techniques that can help calm the mind, reduce stress, and improve mental clarity.

4. Yoga Philosophy: This covers the underlying principles of yoga, such as the eight limbs of yoga and the concept of chakras, and how these principles can be applied to improve overall health and well-being.

5. Ayurveda: Ayurveda is the traditional Indian system of medicine that emphasizes the use of natural remedies, diet, and lifestyle practices to promote health and balance. Participants will learn how Ayurveda principles can be integrated with yoga practices to enhance overall wellness.

6. Yoga therapy: This refers to the use of yoga practices and principles to address specific health conditions or concerns. Participants will learn about the therapeutic benefits of yoga and how to tailor practices to meet individual needs.

7. Yogic Diet: Yogic diet Workshop typically provides education on the principles of yogic nutrition and how to adopt a healthy, balanced diet that supports overall health and well-being.

8. Mindfulness: The mindfulness workshops typically provide education and practices that help individuals cultivate greater awareness and presence in their daily lives. The workshop may cover a range of topics, such as

  • The basics of mindfulness
  • Mindful breathing
  • Body awareness
  • Mindful movements
  • Cultivating positive emotions
  • Mindfulness in daily life.

Participants may learn how to apply mindfulness practices to everyday activities, such as eating, working, or communicating with others.

9. Anatomy and Physiology: The workshops on yoga anatomy and physiology provide an in-depth exploration of the human body and how it relates to the practice of yoga. The workshop may cover a range of topics, such as:

  • Anatomy and physiology of Yoga Asanas
  • Injury prevention
  • The mind-body connection

The workshop is ideal for yoga teachers, healthcare professionals, and anyone interested in learning more about the science behind yoga.

10. Pre and Post-Natal Yoga: The workshops on pre and postnatal yoga, a specialized class that focuses on the unique needs of pregnant women and new mothers. It is designed to provide safe and effective yoga practices that can help support a healthy pregnancy, prepare the body for childbirth, and promote postpartum recovery.

The workshop may cover topics such as:

  • How to modify traditional yoga poses for pregnancy and postpartum
  • Breathing techniques for relaxation and pain management during labour
  • Yoga practices to relieve common pregnancy symptoms, such as back pain, swelling, and fatigue
  • Yoga practices to support postpartum recovery and address common postpartum issues, such as pelvic floor weakness
  •  Yoga practices to promote bonding and connection with the baby

About Founder:
I am Lalitha Priya Kuruhoor, founder of Priyogam. I included Yoga as a part of my life for over a decade, by completing various courses and certifications, I am likely to be inspiring and motivate others, and to create an environment that is supportive, welcoming, and inclusive. I have a strong vision for what they want to achieve through their classes, and willing to work towards in making my vision a reality.

I always look forward to deepening my practice and incorporating new ideas and techniques into my classes. I am open-minded and curious, and willing to explore different approaches in yoga to find what works best for my students.
