Jana Seva Kendra is a registered NGO in Mumbai suburban working in Education, medical help and allied fields since last forty-two years and is inspired by message of Swami Vivekananda. Jana Seva Kendra started a project ‘Vivekananda Prabodhini’ which has vision of ‘Param Vaibhavam..’ means to take our motherland to her glorious heights and ‘Man making Nation Building.’ Shri Ram Naik, Shri Janardan Kamat, Shri Radheshyam Sighania and some others pioneered it way back in 1981 and now Sri Sharad Rege, Sri Shreedhar Sathe, Dr. Narendra Joshi, Dr Prakasg Dhond, Ms Pooja Kulkarni are working tirelessly to fulfil this vision and mission.
We also have subject /domain experts including Dr. Shriram Agashe, ex Vivekananda Kendra, Sri Durgadas Sawant sir, Yoga Vidya Niketan, Smt Rashmi Badve, Samanvaya Yoga (IYA Affilated), alongwith Dr Prachi Moghe, Dr Kiran Ambekar, Shri Shrikrishna Joshi, Dr Dilip Mahanty, Dr Milind Patil, and many others.
Our department of Yoga and Ayurveda we have number of courses including Yoga certificate course, Yoga Teachers course, Yoga therapy through Scriptures course, Yoga Therapy through Practicals course, Mandala and Art Therapy with Yoga course, The Vedas & The Upanishads course, Integral Counselling course and activity, Advanced techniques, Stress Management, Holistic preventive health through Yoga and Ayurveda, Basic & advanced Ayurveda course are conducted.
We also have Indian Knowledge Systems ( IKS ) twenty-one certificate courses including Vedic Literature, Epics, Bhakti sahitya, Swami Vivekananda’s inspiring thoughts, Science & technology in Ancient India, Bhagvad Gita, Dharmashastra, Arthashastra, Neeti shastra, Durgashastra, Temple Architecture, Samskrit grammer and communication, Personality Development, Ancient lipis ( scripts ), and so on.
We also have career and life counselling sessions and tests for all based on Indian integral Yoga psychology model innovatively developed by us.
There are also Competitive exams training courses and also Foundation courses for Youths for all round development and to channelise their energies for National purpose and for human development.
