
Global Institute of Yogic Health and Education Society is an institution dedicated to the classical form of yoga. The vision of the institute is to make health and wellness accessible to all through the ancient art and science of Yoga. The institute endeavours to propagate Yoga in its purest classical form, focusing on Yoga as a lifestyle i.e. not limited to asana or the physical aspect but encapsulating every aspect of a human being’s personality.
The Institute seeks to prepare professionals deeply rooted in the philosophical and practical aspects of Yoga.
The team consists of teachers with advanced qualifications from world’s premier institutes, specializing in blending classical techniques of yoga with alternate healing therapies. Focus is to use yoga as a tool towards union of Mind, Body and Soul and to prepare Yoga professionals par excellence.
The team has experienced resource persons qualified from Yoga Schools like S-VYASA (Bengaluru), The Yoga Institute Santacruz (Mumbai), Kaivalyadhama (Lonavala) and Jain Vishwa Bharti Institute.
The Institute’s intention is to make yoga, simple, engaging and clear, in its pure classical form, so one can take charge of their lives.
Currently the society has two initiatives working under its aegis, Priyanka’s Yoga Studio and The Yoga Clinic, offering a whole range of programs and workshops.
Regular Yoga Programs
Regular daily sessions are conducted by the Institute in the classical Ashtanga Yoga Style for all age groups and body types. These sessions are conducted at three locations across the city.
Yoga Therapy Programs
The Yoga Clinic is Rajasthan state’s first venture aimed at integrating Yoga Therapy with Medical Science. This is in association with the Medipulse Hospital (the largest tertiary care hospital in western Rajasthan). There is a daily OPD where patients are being guided and counselled on how yoga can be integrated with their ongoing medical treatments helping them to improve and expedite their recovery/healing. Experts from the clinic are successfully helping participants with ailments spread across varied sections like Cardiology, Obstetrics, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Rheumatology, Psychology, Gynaecology, Obstetrics and Rehabilitation. The yoga experts closely work with doctors from these specialities to design unique yoga programs for each patient.
Teachers Training Programs:
- Yoga Instructors’ Course (YIC): The institute is affiliated with prestigious S-VYASA (Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana), Bengaluru and is currently offering their flagship program, the Yoga Instructors’ Course (YIC) at their Jodhpur Centre.
In addition, the institute is currently administering the following academic programs:
- Foundation Course in Yoga (50 Hours)
- Certificate Course in Yoga (200 Hours)
- Advanced Certificate Course in Yoga (500 Hours)
The institute follows a strict policy in relation to attendance and the participants are expected to put in 100% time and effort. In addition to our internal policies, the institute also adheres to the standards set by the Indian Yoga Association.
Trainings
The Institute is successfully conducting training sessions in Yoga for NCC, Physical Training Instructors, Fitness Trainers, and Foreign Tourist Groups.
Lifestyle Workshops
The Institute is successfully administering workshops on yoga as lifestyle and a complementing therapy to cure ailments like Hypertension, Diabetes, hyper/hypo thyroid, obesity management, Asthma, Back & Joints disorder etc. The Institute specializes in conducting workshops, seminars and health camps in following areas:
