Commencement of Online Course on Basic Sanskrit by SAFIC

Dr. Y. N. Rao, a renowned linguist and a resource person of Sri Aurobindo Foundation for Indian Culture (SAFIC), has been teaching the Divine language Sanskrit online, free of cost since the last six years. The course is titled ‘Learn Sanskrit Modules’ and it is an e-mail based basic Sanskrit course. After successfully conducting eight rounds (batches), Dr. Rao is commencing the ninth batch from April 7, 2019.
This course is aimed at people of all ages who want to learn the Sanskrit language right from its very basics (including the Devanagari script). The medium of the course is English.
Round 8 of the course which was conducted in 2018 had an unprecedented enrollment of 2,500 students from India and 87 other foreign countries.
