Ashrama GAYA - Centro do Yoga Associacaon

THE ASHRAMA – IS A TEMPLE of Philosophical Light, Inner Development, Cosmic Energy, Peace and Love – with external, personal, collective and Fraternal reflections. It is also the Home of the Grand Master (or First Master – later Grand Master) – the Sat Guru.

Deep Inner Development is provided by Trimurti:

1. Knowledge of the Philosophical Light of the Primordial Tradition (in this case the Yoga Sámkhya);
2. Place of practice (the Áshrama), of Meditative Development and of Intellectual Enlightenment – the ultimate Goal of Yoga, through the Practice or Philosophical Path (the Sádhaná); and the
3. Existence of a True Great Master (Enlightened), inserted in the Cordon of the Great Timeless Masters, in fact serving the Tradition of Human Development, Yoga, and Sámkhya.

THE PHILOSOPHICAL PRACTICE – WHAT IS PRACTICED IN THE ASHRAMA

The INTERNAL PRACTICES :

The reason for the existence of the Áshrama – must be the practice of the Supreme Wisdom – the Intellectual Enlightenment ( Buddhi ) – the Samadhi . This Self-Perfection (the ascent of the Ladder of Angels) is achieved by the practice of True Meditation – Dhyána / Samyama , by Continuous Concentration – Dharaná , and by the Abstractions of Mind and Senses – Pratyáhára (Meditation is always done sitting); and also by the Breathing Exercises – Pránáyáma– which exponentially increase the control of available Energy – Prána (less oxygen ions, and photons), and of perception, and even the domain of some neurovegetative functions (Pránáyáma is always done sitting); For the deep Relaxation – Yoganidrá – which combats the very strong and deadly stress, anxiety, and hypertensive states, motivated by a meaningless anti-fraternal competition, and the harmful pollution at all levels – providing in exchange a high quality night sleep, and a reinforcement of the Immune System (Yoganidrá is always done lying down); By the strength of the beautiful Canticles – Kírtana / Mantra – in Samskrta (aka Sanskrit) / Devanágari (seated feats); of Sound Concentration by powerful sounds – Jápa Tala– cadenced (seated feats); and of the continuous Elevator sounds – Jápa Shesha – (seated feats); by Introspection and Group Analysis – Sat Sanga (sitting, usually in a circle); Of the power of the Yantra (or Mandala) – Complex Symbols , and Cosmos/Individual interaction, of deep Psychological Influence (sitting, or in stable equilibrium); dos Mudrá – Gestures made with the hands – awakening important brain areas, normally dormant (made sitting); of the Bandha – muscle stimulators (sphincters, and not only), Super Energy awakeners – the mythical Power of Kundaliní- residual energy of DNA, which provides a Grandeur and Cosmic Dimension Human Beings (releasing him from creeping condition – Animal post) (seated made); By the votes of the High Gratitude , the recognition , and Salaam – Pujá , the Ancestors Great Masters of Wisdom , which imparts True and Important Knowledge to the practicing Neophyte – Chela / Shishya, and establishes a Subtle Bridge of True and continuous positive inspiration, and awakens Powers – Siddhi – Amazing Perfections (usually done sitting); and manasika– placing the mind in intense Universal mentalizations, through the Elevation and Evolution of the Human Race (usually sitting). These are the activities and internal practices , of the practitioner’s Inner Enlightenment in the Áshrama, which must also have an External reflection , by the so-called

EXTERNAL PRACTICES :

in Kriya – detoxification exercises and cleansing of mucous membranes and organs (usually sitting or squatting); in the Asana – cold stretching, flexibility, and balance – for the sensitivity to the control of the 1st Universal Force to Gravity; and in Karma in Yoga – the Total Volunteer Service, which must be exercised in the Áshrama, of work for a True Universal Cause, Noble and transparent.

IDEALS AND VIBRATION OF THE ÁSHRAMA

In an Áshrama – Development must be positive in all facets – always living with the best of oneself . The Subtle Principles that must always be in place are essential factors in the correct construction of the environment in an Áshrama and in the Total Development of the Practitioner present: the Matriarchal Principles – Yama / Niyama – are the foundation of Yoga, from which we highlight – know yourself – Svádhyaya , and judge yourself, not others, live with the best of yourself, demand from you , and tolerates others by observing their virtues and not their defects, promoting inner Peace – Ahimsa– and abroad, and World; and encouraging the fight against greed – Aparigraha , and the deformed and exaggerated ego; to cupidity – Íshvara Pranidhána – promoting Volunteering, Service and Active Fraternity; and developing and using the Super Kundaliní Energy – the only one that allows reaching the Supreme Samádhi (Nirbíja) – Consolidated Enlightenment , always with maximum Purity – Shaucha ; and the cult for a Silent Luminosity , the only one conducive to listening to the Harmony of the Subtle Inner Music , inspiring, Elevating and Contagious, with a heart filled with Love and eyes filled with Light .

MAIN RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE PHILOSOPHICAL PRACTICE OF YOGA

ATTENTION:
One should not shower or bathe after a Yoga class – just two hours later, at least – so that all the formidable dynamized Energy can be fully assimilated; nor bathing or showering until at least one hour before class or practice; Must not eat until 3 hours before class or practice – normal meal; or up to 2 hours before – light food; It is practiced barefoot, or with socks. The neophyte practitioner – Chela / Shishya must, from the first class, be guided to a deep interior dive, in his own Micro Cosmos, “Made in the Image and Similarity” of the entire Macro Cosmos (what is below is like what is above), insisting on the constant mastery of attention over all the physical and subtle phenomena that it must encounter,
Anima. Thus, the Yoga Practitioner is the one who knows himself best, and is the most responsible for the sobriety of his practice, for his Health and well-being, and must constantly rely on his direct Teacher, and immediately request extra guidance, always that you feel the need.

Yoga is “only” Prophylactic – Promotes Health and Well-Being, and Exponents of Personal Development and total integration

WHAT AN ASHRAMA IS NOT – NOR SHOULD BE

It’s not a gym. Not a place of guesswork. Not a place with mechanical devices, no soul, nor human proportion (no matter how much magical masters are advertised in those places – in fact the True Masters never enter there – they just attend the Áshrama). No place with deafening and unbalanced music.
