Aarogyam Yoga

You are here: Home / Associate Member Institution / Aarogyam Yoga

Yoga is a set of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines which originated in ancient India. Yog gurus from India introduced yoga to the West. Following the success of Swami Vivekananda in the late 19th and early 20th century with his adaptation of yoga tradition, excluding asanas. Outside India, it has developed into a posture-based physical fitness, stress-relief and relaxation technique. Yoga in Indian tradition, however, is more than physical exercise; it has a meditative and spiritual core.

According to ancient indian texts, the origin of the disease is in the mind, in the form of stress (Adhi), which manifests in the body as physical ailment(Vyadhi).

We, at Arogyam, work on yoga practices that gives a holistic approach through Integrated Approach of Yoga Therapy (IAYT) that involves :-

Asana, Pranayama, Meditation techniques, different Relaxation techniques, Shuddhi kriyas, Breathing practices, Loosening practices, Discourses, Happy assembly, Fun outings, Counselling, Yoga games, Karmayoga for inner peace.

Way Of Teaching
Proper exercise acts as a method to make sure that all your muscles, joints, ligaments and tendons are flexible and have enough blood circulation.

Breathing & Pranayama
This helps the body in becoming connected to its solar plexus, which is the core of the body. This also helps to increase your clarity and vitality.

Proper Relaxation – Shavasana
Relaxation helps to give the body a reprieve and prevents it from becoming over-worked and repairs the tissue damages.
Proper Thinking and Meditation – Vedanta and Dhyana

This helps you to put your mind in the correct place. This helps to settle your thoughts and lets you and your mind have a slight reprieve.
