Dr. (Prof.) Rima Dada is an internationally acclaimed physician-scientist, academician, and researcher, serving as Professor in the Department of Anatomy at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. Renowned for her pioneering contributions to Human Cytogenetics, Molecular Genetics, and Reproductive Biology, she has dedicated her career to advancing biomedical research while promoting the integration of evidence-based yoga with modern medicine.
She is a Task Force Member for the Ayushman Bharat Scheme and serves as the Chair for Yoga and Genetics at the Council for Integrated Medicine and Yoga (CIMY), USA. As the Spokesperson and Media Cell Professor In-charge at AIIMS, New Delhi, she actively contributes to scientific communication and public health awareness.
Dr. Dada has made significant contributions to translational medical research, with a special focus on genetics, epigenetics, infertility, regenerative medicine, lifestyle disorders, and the scientific basis of yoga. Her research has helped establish the role of yoga and mind-body interventions in influencing genetic expression, improving health outcomes, and promoting preventive healthcare.
An internationally recognized speaker, she has delivered keynote lectures at prestigious national and global conferences and has chaired more than 75 scientific sessions. Her outstanding contributions to medicine, genetics, and integrative health have earned her over 28 national and international awards and honors.
