  • Patanjali Yoga and Research Center Charitable Trust based in Kozhikode, Kerala in the year 30/07/ 1997 as per the registration number210/04/97 at Kozhikode. The centre has managed to train innumerable yoga teachers who serve the humanity all over the world. An Ashram named Tapovanam in Badiroor, his home village, in 2.85 acres of land was started the year 2001 to spread the Yoga ideology and its uniqueness all over India and across the world. Tapovanam prescribes Yoga for resolving conflicts and a panacea for all sufferings in the human world. Since then, the Ashram has become a bacon and port for all those who have not found solution to their problems in other medical and curative systems.

    The Ashram also initiated awareness programs and special camps for Students to tackle stress and, also initiated detailed research programs aimed at this specific issue. „Yoga for Adolescent Girls‟ was a special research program and the target populations were the students of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Nadakkavu, Kozhikode. The findings were published in the International Yoga Science Magazine. In association with Dr. Madhavachandran, the Ashram also conducted 16 research programs into connected issues.
    Works, in India and world over

    1) In Cyprus, (European country) he succeeded in spreading the Yoga and conducted many meditation and Yoga programs in its complete form and could train many local teachers who spread the message and importance of Yoga & meditation
    2) In Melborne (Australia), he trained many persons under the auspices of Kerala Hindu Samajam.
    3) In Denmark, he became the chief coordinator for Diabetic Treatment Program of World Diabetic Centre and worked in this capacity for 5 years.
    4) In Kerala, he was a research person for 3 years under Kerala Government‟s State Centre for Education Research and Training (SCERT). Yoga training camps for High School students suitable for their educational achievement levels were conducted all across the state of Kerala. He also offered his free of cost service to Kozhikode District Sports Council for 8 years.
    5) In the auspices of Kulanada Medical Trust Hospital, Kerala, he conducted Yoga awareness program and Yoga practice for nurses of Kozhikode Medical College.
    6) In 1998, a seminar was convened including renowned Allopathic Cardiac specialists, Ayurvedic and Homeopathic Doctors. After the seminar, 60 selected cardiac patients were put under Yoga practice sessions for 3 months and the subsequent results were found to be a great success.
    7) In 2001, Yoga awareness program and practice session were conducted at Travancore Physicians Club, Thiruvalla, Kerala, for Indian Medical Association members.
    8) In 2001, Doordarshan Kendra, Thiruvananthapuram broadcasted a serial styled “Yogayanam”. Other media have also beamed various Yoga programs anchored by him.
    9) Yoga and Naturopathy classes for the Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine (BAMS) students of Kottakkal Government Ayurveda College, Kerala and Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda College, Ollur in Trissur district of Kerala. The classes have been going on for more than a decade.
    10) Yoga classes in Medical College (Anjarakkandi, Kannur), A.W.H Kozhikode, J.D.T Islam college of Physiotherapy Kozhikode all in connection with physiotherapy courses.
    11) Yoga classes in Calicut University, Devagiri College, Christian College, Kozhikode and a number of other colleges.
    12) Yoga classes for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya
    13) Yoga classes Calicut Sub jail, Juvenile Home and Old age Home, Kozhikode.
    14) School based Yoga classes for differently abled kids and through KIRTADS, Adivasi Students for personality development and to improve their mental capability.
    15) Yoga classes for Shri.M.T .Vasudevan Nair (Gyanpeedom Awardee), Padmabhushan Shri. Mohan Lal (Movie actor), Late Shri.M.P.Veerendra Kumar, erstwhile cabinet minister and renowned writer and a number of IAS officers.
    16) Yoga classes for DSC (Defense Security Core) Jawans stationed at West Hill, Kozhikode, NCC and NSS cadets.
    17) Yearly Yoga and Meditation programs at Samorin High School, Kozhikode and Indore Stadium, Kozhikode.
    18) Currently he conducts Yoga awareness and training classes for students and faculty members of IIM Calicut (Kozhikode), NIT Calicut (Kozhikode).
    19) The period of Covid 19 infection in 2019, saw him leading in conducting Yoga awareness and practice classes for homeless people under the auspices of Kerala Society Development and Welfare Department.
    20) Yoga Program for scissor less and easy child birth was implemented with great success in cooperation with Malabar Hospital, Kozhikode.
