Mananeeya Parameswaranji Passes Away
It is with deep grief, we inform you of the sad demise of Mananeeya Parameswaranji (1927-2020). He was the President Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari. He passed away at 10:30pm on Saturday i.e. February 8, 2020. Indian Yoga Association expresses its condolences.

He was a Padma Vibhushan awardee, an author, Hindutva thinker and an orator. He is one of the founder members of the International Forum for India’s Heritage (IFIH) .
Born in 1927, from early childhood, he had a great inclination towards the study of Hinduism. He was intimately connected with most of the Hindu social and cultural organizations. In 1968, he became and All‑India General Secretary and later Vice‑President of the Jan Sangh. He was jailed during the Indian Emergency (1975-1977).
He has authored several books on Indian philosophy and society. He was the editor of journals‑ ‘Kesari’ and ‘Manthan’. Eevn at the age of 93, he was the editor of the monthly ‘Yuva Bharati’ and the biannually Vivekananda Kendra Patrilka and Chief Editor of ‘Pragati’ Quarterly Research Journal.
